There are was in Cerne's wood in this 65 season. No one of the admins did not found that is specific situation, therefore if you get disconnect on the few last lap, you will not have points.

Is it fair? I don't think so. All will be considered valid until happen to them, this a few times when they will lead in the race.

I really don't understand, what the hell do we need this stupid rule about points only for the finish flag?

Let's take a vote.

I think that this theme was created just to let off steam, nothing will be done. For example, what was changed in the previous season, and what it led to, somebody analyzed?

Many ride here not because of super interesting conditions, but there is no alternatives, I think who rides even more popular Sims understands what I'm saying.

Nothing personal to admins and other drivers...

I was asked to give my wishes for 2014, just as every member is entitled to do. If someone disagrees with my wishes then that's Ok, I've no problem with that freuen It's not me that anyone needs to convince if they wish to change something, my wishes stand as much chance as anyone else's and I've already made my views clear. I gave them in what I consider to be in the best interests of the league and the majority of it's members.

In my opinion, I think DNFs in the final lap should remain DNFs since it is (most likely) a mistake of driver.

I think allowing points to driver while retiring in the final lap should be in case of a TECH (disko, screen freeze etc.), because you can't really be blamed for that.

I would feel more screwed to get a TECH in the end than that I crash myself out.

I probably wont be racing much next year so I wont chime in on the points & cup discussion. But here are some general things I'd like to drive:

Mods
GTs
CanAms
F2s
maybe TCs freuen at least as fun event.


Races
about 45-60mins
double heats sound good for F2


Tracks
less Papy tracks
fantasy tracks, just because they aren't real life tracks doesn't mean they arn't fun
1 or 2 ovals

About starters in different mods in 2013 (without DNS's):

65: Max = 29 in Kyalami. Min = 11 in Rouen. Total = 312. Avg = 16.421.

66: Max = 23 in Salzburg. Min = 6 in Bathurst. Total = 131. Avg = 10.917.

69: Max = 12 in Zeltweg. Min = 6 in Assen. Total = 105. Avg = 8.75.
But, imho, calendar for 66 was not good, calendar for 69 was almost bad traurig I like both mods, and know that 69 very good on mid-speed tracks with chicanes, combination of turns and not long straights. But in this year calendar of 69 was saturated of slow and high-speed tracks (forex: brno, anderstorp, monza 1000k, spa).

Also, rules about choosing car wasn't good to. In 66 we have 16 cars, in 69 - 15. How many cars was on events? For example: in 69 - 7. I.e. 5, but Yannick took ms10 and ms84 for one event each.

All it kills of interest.

Why I think, that 69 more preferred than 66 in next year? 69 easier.
Accordingly, I think that must choose good calendars and determine rules for more interest.

I did use each Matra since I only participated in the last three races and it was bit of a experiment to me which drove best to me.

For me, the racing days Sunday and Tuesday are good, possible also Wednesday.

We did some spec races in the past where for one race in the season, all players had to drive the same car. I remember Lotus 63's at Kyalami and Brabham BT7's, also at Kyalami? That was good fun freuen .

For the 69-Extra's it could be a race where you had to drive the cars with no wings or something.

Also about FairShift:
I think that this idea is medium-good for without-shifter pilots, but in this idea we have some moments:

1st: 0.222 on neutral at one upshift is many time
2nd: Some pilots may haven't paddles.
3rd: Shifting on H-shifter is harder than shifting on paddles, because pilot control car only one hand on wheel
4th: H-shifter is not panacea - on most tracks it is 1, maximum 2 tenth of second on lap. This is important if we are talking about wr's, but it's not important in real battles in races. Speed of pilot more and more important.
5th: What about downshift? 0.389 seconds on neutral for each gear?

I think that in current realization FairShift is no good idea for champ, because it's clumsy solution of current situation. Maybe more reasonable make fixed minimum time on neutral for H-shifter that will be little faster than time on neutral for paddles? Or (it will be best solution) change time on neutral for paddles to little faster time than now? For example: 0.111 or 0.15. It will be fairest solution!

And yes, I haven't shifter freuen
